What is the distance from the rear of the delivery lorry to where the concrete can be poured?

The distance from the back of the lorry including the extendable shoot is approx. 2.4 meters.

Can I unload the delivery lorry with a wheelbarrow, if so how long will it take?
​
Yes you can! The time varies depending on how many people you have on site and how many wheelbarrows they have. It will take roughly 24 wheelbarrow loads per m3. Please be aware waiting time charges may apply over the included time. The delivery vehicle does not carry wheel barrows on board.

What if I need to change or cancel my scheduled delivery of concrete?
​
Orders can be amended or cancelled, for example an increase in quantity, up to the point of batching the concrete. Please note that cancelled orders must be notified a minimum of 24 hours prior to delivery. Should you need to cancel a delivery after this time then a charge of £8.00 + VAT per cubic meter is chargeable. This is due to cancellations affecting the batching and delivery schedule

Waiting times on site?
​
There is a 30 minute waiting time included for every delivery. If you exceed the inclusive times there will be a charge of £85.00 + VAT per hour.

What time will my delivery arrive?
​
We aim to deliver your concrete at the time requested however due to previous delays on sites or traffic conditions we cannot always guarantee times. If we are due to be more than 45 minutes late for your delivery then we will contact you to advise of the delay. Delivery windows are usually 1 hour.

How much notice do I need to give when ordering concrete?
​
Ideally 24 hours or more. We do however understand that this is not always possible and will always try and accommodate orders if we have capacity to supply them. As a general rule, the more notice you give us the more choice of delivery time slots are available.

What type or specification of concrete do I need?
​
Please see our products tab for full details of the concrete products we supply. These detail the concrete types and applications that they are used for. We provide concrete products for a variety of applications including, housing, commercial, domestic and agricultural purposes.

How long does it take for the concrete to set?
​
When your concrete arrives on site you usually have between 1 to 2 hours to level and compact the surface before it goes off. This varies with different mixes, weather conditions can also affect the setting time.

How big is the lorry that will deliver my concrete?
​
We operate lorries that carry either 6 or 8 cubic meters of concrete. Overall length of the vehicles 33ft, width 9ft and height 13ft. Please ensure before ordering that your site will accept a vehicle of these dimensions as charges apply for aborted deliveries due to insufficient access.

What methods of payments do you accept?
​
We accept cash, cheques (provided with name address and telephone number on reverse) also all major credit and debit cards which can be paid over the phone or the driver of the delivery vehicle is equipped with a mobile card payment machine. Trade accounts are authorised by the company director following successful trading relationships. Pro-forma payments are initially required
