Fibres are either used for structural applications (to partially or completely replace steel mesh) or to control cracking due to plastic shrinkage and drying shrinkage. They also reduce the permeability of concrete and thus reduce bleeding of water. 

We are now able to offer most designs with synthetic macro fibres or semi-synthetic structural fibres pre-mixed through the concrete. Available in 12mm or 50mm lengths.
